Hop On
Hop on, my wings are ready
I want to soar above the earth
And look down, pick the place
Where I want to land, perhaps
A sunlit beach with golden sand
And crystal waters, warm and blue
Kissing the shore, softly humming
Their mermaid songs, a breeze
As gentle as the sigh of a child
Caressing my cheek, or the hand
Of a mother, solicitous and mild
Hop on, come away with me now
I want to climb high, above hills
And rivers and fields and trees
I want to take a nap upon a cloud
And chant nursery rhymes and sing
Hymns of praise, I want to dance
With a swirling westerly wind
Do arabesques, spin on tiptoe
Tilt with the earth, rotate and sway
And let the silvery moon and stars
Silently steal my breath away
